Put the OUTING in Scouting!

We have a ton of great activities coming up to get our boys out and enjoying the great outdoors and many of the wonderful resources available to us in this area. Check them out below and get involved! As the Law of the Pack says, the Pack is here to help the scouts grow, but the scouts (and of course their supportive parents) help the Pack GO! Lets all go have some great experiences these next few months. We have Family Camp (May 18th-20th), Graduation/Raingutter Regatta (June 3rd), Day Camp (July, different days by Den level), and Summer Camp (July 25-28th). These are all great opportunities for the boys to get out (away from that TV) and enjoy the beautiful area we live in, so make the most of it! Details on these events can be found below, and on the Events pages linked from the menu on the left side of this website.

One-Page Calendar Download Available

We have our online calendar (accessible on the right side of this page) populated with all our upcoming events, but if you like to have a quick summary page to view offline (post on your fridge, populate your other calendars, etc.), you can download a one-page calendar summary here. This calendar was last updated on March 14, 2012. Of our remaining events, one has changed since the original calendar passed out in our August Pack Meeting: The May Pack Meeting has moved out one week, to May 29th. We've also now included details of what Den levels attend which days of Day Camp in July.

Family Camp - LOCATION CHANGE! Peninsula Campground, Folsom Lake, May 18th-20th

Please note the location change on our Family Camp this weekend. Due to a scheduling problem with Rollins Lake, we will now be holding the camp at the Peninsula Campground at Folsom Lake. Pack Meeting - Oak Chan Multi, Tuesday May 29th 7-8pm

Our last Pack Meeting of the scouting year is on May 29th. We will have more boys getting their rank advancements (Webelos this month!), so don't miss out on that ceremony and hearing what all the boys have been up to this month. Conatact Dan West at danwestmit@yahoo.com for any questions..

Pack Graduation & Raingutter Regatta - Briggs Ranch Park, Sunday June 3rd 3-6pm

It's hard to believe we're already coming to the end of the scout year. Our Pack Graduation is a fun event where each den graduates up to the next level, receiving their new hats, neckercheifs, and slides. We also have our Raingutter Regatta event, where the boys get to race their own boats against their fellow scouts after eating a great picnic lunch provided by the Pack. Summer Camp Signups - Hurry, Before It's Too Late!

While we have already made our reservations for summer camp, we may be able to add a few boys to our roster. So if you forgot to sign up earlier you can contact our event coordinator Shannon Devoys at devoys@att.net to get in on the fun. We are going to our local council summer camp, Camp Lassen, on July 25th - July 28th (Wednesday through Saturday). Summer camp is the highlight of the year for the boys who attend. Don't miss out! Day Camp Signups - See Your Den Leader!

Our district also runs a Day Camp at Jenkinson Lake in July. The program dates vary by Den level, so check out the full information on the event page of our website to reserve the dates on your calendar that are right for your son's Den Level in July (remember, everyone moves up a level in June). We need to submit our registration as a Pack to verify we have enough adults along with our scouts, so signups are being coordinated through your Den Leaders. Note that prices will go up if you sign up after May 17th, so reserve your spot early! For any questions, please contact our camp coordinator Annette Thomure at flyann@sbcglobal.net.
